Second part of the Blockbuster Movie, Dabaang is to begin the shooting in next week. The movie satellite rights of the film has been bought by Star Network, for 48 crores.This is the highest figure any Indian film has fetched from satellite rights. According to the deal, Star Network can telecast Dabangg 2 for 11 years. Music rights of the Movie has been sold to T-series for 10 crores.
So far, only Karan Johar's Agneepath and Aamir Khan's upcoming film Talaash have touched the 40 crore when it comes to satellite rights. Hrithik Roshan's Krrish 3 has been sold for 37 crores. Dabangg 2 will be directed by Arbaaz and would feature Sonakshi Sinha, Mahi Gill, and Prakash Raj. It will hit the theatres around Christmas 2012.
